Viisaita sanoja netistä – Wisdom from Internet

I found these words from Pinterest and wanted to document somewhere else than just on my computer. Somehow these words express my inner urge to make pretty things. There are many people there who don’t quite get this, papercrafting for example, but it doesn’t matter, I keep creating because it brings me joy.

Materials: Patterned papers: LilyBee, Sassafras Lass, Prima, Stampin’ Up!, American Crafts, Fancy Pants – Bird cage: Sizzix – Tile: Prima – Frame: Melissa Frances – Alphabets: Making Memories, My Little Shoebox

Lilac is a difficult color for me as it seems to be to many crafters. However now I managed to use some of it on this 6×12 layout, thanks to this week’s CSI challenge!

I did use all of the colors given, not the most obvious combination for me but fun to work with! As evidence I have painting (used gesso on the background), a frame, animal accent (a butterfly in the tile), pom-pom trim, something that shimmers (shimmer spray on the bird cage), textured element (used gauze on the background), translucent element (the little envelope). As testimony I used a translucent envelope for the (super short) journaling.
