Color Combo: White, navy, kraft, coral

Practical Scrappersin uusi väriteema on seuraava: koralli, kraft-kartonki, valkoinen ja laivastonsininen. Ei ainakaan minulle mikään tyypillisin yhdistelmä, varsinkin koralli tuntuu hankalalta väriltä.

In Practical Scrappers there is a new color combo: coral, kraft, white and navy. Not the easiest for me, especially coral was challenging.

Materials: Sizzix tags die & pennants framelits, Fancy Pants, Stampin’ Up, Echo Park, Basic Grey, Tattered Angels, my Etsy shop

Translation of the journaling: “Chatham was home for T twice and for E once. Within a walking distance there were lots of fun things to do with children: shops, libraries, a beach and playgrounds. In the picture you are exploring the monuments at the sea shore.”

Taustan tein jämämateriaaleista. Olin nimittäin leikellyt kasan tageja joululahjoja varten ja niistä jäi hauskannäköisiä reunoja, joita en halunnut heittää roskiin.

I made the background for this page using some leftover edges from cutting tags for Christmas presents. I thought these looked so fun that I just couldn’t throw them away!

Otin esille kuviopaperin, jolle asettelin näitä reunuksia hieman liimaillen niitä kiinni. Sitten levitin päälle gessokerroksen ja annoin kuivua.

I organised these edges on a patterned paper in a random order using a little bit of glue. Then I applied a layer of gesso on top and let it dry.

Sivun kokosin tavalliseen tyyliini. Ompelukonetta, roiskeita, rykelmää.

The page is then put together in my typical style: sewing machine, ink splatters and a cluster.

Minkälaisen sivun sinä saat aikaiseksi näistä väreistä? Linkitä oma työsi Practical Scrappersin FB-sivulle (jonka seuraaja kannattaa muutenkin olla!).
