Poikien äitinä minulla ei ole kovinkaan usein mahdollisuutta tehdä tyttömäisiä sivuja keijujen ja vaalenapunaisen sävyjen kera. Kun sain tämän ihanan taianomaisen Kaisercraftin Enchanted Forest -setin, oli siinä enemmän kuin hyvä syy tehdä keijukaissivu. Kuvassa olen minä 3-v. syntymäpäivilläni Oslossa, jossa silloin asuimme, keijuksi pukeutuneena. Tämä keijusivu on tänään esillä myös Merly Impressions -blogissa!
Hi all! This time I had a chance to try out the beautiful and magical collection Enchanted Forest. I wanted to use some of the pretty fairies and ended up making a layout of my 3rd birthday where I was dressed as a fairy! As a mother of three boys it is quite rare that I have a chance to make a girly layout with pink and fairies so I really enjoyed this! This fairy layout is up on the Merly Impressions blog today!

Muotoonleikatun taustapaperin olen kiinnittänyt 12×12 kartongille, jonka päällystin pitsillä.
As the background I used a die-cut paper which I placed on top of cardstock covered with some lace.
Leikkasin kuviopaperista irti muutaman keijun.
I cut some fairies from a patterned paper and also used some fairies, flowers, tags and mushrooms from the Collectables.
Kuten usein tapanani on, lisäsin tekstuuria ompelemalla koneella suoraa tikkiä sinne tänne. Mitä mahtaa ompelukoneraukkani miettiä kun joutuu ompelemaan läpi kartongin, liiman ja kaksipuoleisen teipin?!
I often like to add detail on my layouts by sewing and here you can see that again. I am not sure what my trusty sewing machine thinks when having to stitch through card, lace, glue and double sided tape…
In the journaling I am pondering whether I will ever have a chance to organise a fairy party as my children are all boys. I am sure I can do it at least as an aunt or later as a grandma!
